In 2007, the 'artist' Guillermo
Vargas Habacuc, (pictured left) took a dog from the street, tied
him to a rope in an art gallery, and starved him to death.

For several days, this 'artist' and visitors to the
exhibition watched the dog die a slow agonising death.

The prestigious "Visual Arts Biennial of
the Central American" did nothing to halt this barbaric execution of an innocent animal and maintained that the 'installation' represented art.

Reports revealed several local children helped
capture the misfortunate animal although no information
is available at this time that they were aware of its fate.
